The course consists of 60 hours of training and is divided into two levels

• First level: it allows to achieve the certificate of “teacher” in P4C that means the competences to promote the building of a community of inquiry, to manage the social dynamics of it and to promote and develop inside the practice of the philosophical dialogue.
  More specific competences are: the knowledge and the correct implementation of P4C’s curriculum
   

• Second level: it is focused on philosophical subjects and is open to those who already are “teacher” or “teacher expert” in P4C. It enables to model sessions of philosophical practice, to develop educational project using P4C’s materials, to act as a coach as well as supervisor in P4C, to monitor and assess P4C’s sessions.

For the participants coming from the EU's countries (Comenius_Grundtvig programme) tuition fee is € 850,00 and includes: training activities, curriculum materials, CD with manuals and other supports, translation.

Board and lodging charge (Hotel "La Panoramica"),  is € 1.500,00 and includes: single room and full board service for 9 days, picking up for arrival and departure, trips and visits of places having cultural value .

• Wednesday 21^st - Arrival, registration, room accomodation, withdraw of material, welcome, plenary session,dinner

• Thursday 22^nd morning- P4C and its philosophical, pedagogic, psycological and didactic aspects.
  Afternoon - Curriculum material: philosophical and normal tales.

• Friday 23^th morning - The philosophical dialogue. Afternoon - Workshop activity and reflections on the practice.

• Saturday 24^th morning - Philosophical questioning and its sources. Afternoon - Workshop activity and sessions

• Sunday 25^th: guided tour of Rome and Ciociaria, Anagni, Fiuggi.

• Monday 26^th morning  - How to buid a research community. Afternoon - Workshop activity and sessions

• Tuesday 27^th morning  - The development of complex thinking (critical, creative and caring). Afternoon -
  Workshop activity and sessions.

• Wednesday 28^th morning - "Community of inquiry" and valuation. Afternoon - Workshop activity and sessions

• Thursday 29^th  morning - P4C:  interdisciplinary and didactic aspects. Afternoon -  Ecodialogue (P4C and environmental education).

• Friday 30^th morning - Concluding assessment and departure
   

NOTE: Morning activities: 9.00 - 13.00; Afternoon activities: 16.00 - 19.00; Lunch: 13.00; Dinner: 20.00

(Alcohol in not allowed in the restaurant).
